AffCon2010 came to Denver in June, and Joel Comm was there to deliver the keynote. AffCon is a large conference for online and affiliate marketing. Joel talked about his successes in the business and what he and the company have been up to lately. Highlights included a brief history of the amazing success of the iFart App, the trials and tribulations of getting the KaChing button approved by the Apple App Store, and other adventures in online, mobile, and social media marketing, such as bringing together the Twitter celebrities of the day for Tweet-a-Thon 2009. Joel also discussed one of the things that keeps life as an entrepreneur interesting: how not everything you try is going to be the stunning success you expect and hope for. He explained a little bit about the making of the GameDoc app, and how its success was undermined by various circumstances. All in all, it was a great crowd and a great turnout for AffCon2010! Watch this space for Joel’s next speaking appearance.
